Assisting Keweenaw Heritage Sites and Partners-
Copper Country Preservation (CCP) provides financial and technical
assistance to local Keweenaw Heritage Sites and other park partners. This
assistance provides the partners with training and education on
topics such as resource interpretation, preservation methods, marketing,
fundraising, and grant writing. The ultimate goal is to provide
the partners with the knowledge and resources to enable them to
become fully sustainable organizations that effectively contribute
to the mission of the Keweenaw National Historical Park.
              Promoting a Preservation
                  Ethic-
Copper Country Preservation also works to instill a preservation
ethic along the entire Keweenaw Peninsula. In addition to being
a public advocate for preservation, CCP aspires to provide organizations
and individuals with the tools necessary to identify, rehabilitate
                and protect important historic resources.
              Partnering with the
                  National Park Service-
As an extension of the park's Advisory Commission, Copper Country
Preservation works collaboratively with the Keweenaw National
Historical Park to promote the park's mission through financial
                assistance. |
